Web Conferencing is used to conduct live meetings or presentations over the Internet. In a web conference, each participant sits at his or her own computer and is connected to other participants via the internet for the video portion of the conference and it is integrated with a telephone conference call for the audio portion. InterCall is the State of Kansas Vendor for Audio and Web Conference.
Below are some of the features of the InterCall system:
Several Divisions has been set up with a Access Code and Access ID to use for a web conference. Each contact person has been given these codes, however, Deby Zimmerman and the Help Desk can provide these codes to you if needed. If you need assistance in scheduling and setting up a web conference contact Deby Zimmerman. If there is a small group (no more than 6) or the web conference is just you and the conference attendees, the ISD Training Room can be reserved. This would allow the use of a desktop computer and full size monitor versus a laptop in a conference room.
Contact Deby Zimmerman if you need assistance on how to set up and hold a web conference.
Below is an instruction video by InterCall regarding Web Conferencing. However, feel free to contact Deby for any assistance, especially if it is your first conference.
